So many women ignore the common knowledge of eating smaller meals consistently during the day and not starving oneself when learning how to lose arm fat. Why do they do this? Because deep down inside women want to believe that starvation and extreme dieting will produce faster results.

But the truth is that such guerilla dieting destroys the body’s metabolic mechanisms. In other words, it shuts down your body’s ability to burn off the arm flab. So here are 6 nutrition tips to follow so that your body (and mind) doesn’t shut down:

1. Don’t try to burn a crazy amount of calories. You are not the energizer bunny, so please don’t spend hours and hours in the gym every day. All your arms need to stop jiggling is a short but hard workout (45min. or less), 2-3 times a week.

2. Forget about logging your food consumption. Do this, and your robotic tendencies will make you want to pull your hair out. At one point you’ll explode and feel the urge to burn your log in a fire. Ditch the log.

3. Focus on general eating patterns. All you have to do is make sure each one of your meals has a protein, vegetable, carbohydrate and fat source. If you want to take it to the next level, make sure you carbohydrate sources are only legumes. Do this, and everything else will fall into place.

4. Forget about counting calories. Even worse than the food log, because now instead of pulling out your hair, you’ll want to jump off a cliff. The whole calorie counting mumbo jumbo is based on an outdated closed thermodynamic model. In other words, the flawed idea that a 3500 caloric deficit produces 1 lb. of fat loss.

5. Don’t eliminate pleasure foods from your diet. The biggest negatives of pleasure foods are high caloric content and fast digestion. You can minimize both negatives by simply having a slightly smaller portion of the food and accompanying it with a serving of vegetables. The fibrous material of the vegetable will slow down the digestion of the pleasure food substantially and less calories (if any) will go to your arm fat.

6. Don’t have more than one serving of alcohol per day. Again, despite all the advice on this one, many of my female clients still drink way too much. Aside from a high caloric content, alcohol shuts down all your arm fat burning hormones. The good news is that the more you exercise, the less alcohol you need to achieve that “buzz” feeling.

Ok, now you have 6 tips to follow that should make learning how to lose arm fat that much easier. Be patient and change your eating style piecemeal, day by day. If you diet the dirty way, you’ll end up crashing!

Finally, I would like to mention that you shouldn’t get discouraged if you stray from your diet. You see, it is impossible to eat perfectly all the time. Even the best dieters cheat. But the main difference is that they get back on track much faster than the average person.

There is an infinite amount of sites on the internet offering the promise on how to lose arm fat. And it can be extremely challenging to discern which sites are offering the right approach. Too many savvy marketers are out to make a quick buck.

And if you buy into a solution that does not work, the resulting failure could end up killing any lingering sexy arm dreams you may have. In the worst of scenarios, your arms may even end up looking worse than they were!

What can you do to avoid this?

You have to make sure to look out for the following before submitting any payments:

1. Gargantuan weight loss systems. You do not need to go through an exhaustive and complicated weight loss system to get sexy arms. The main reason these types of programs are pushed, is to up-sell you on expensive offerings. If you buy into this, you will be flooded with so many files that you will not even know how to begin.

2. Questionable before and after pictures. If the person in the before and after pictures looks different then he or she is! A real before and after shot will clearly show (without any doubt) the same person. Mind you, for $3 you can pay someone overseas to modify a digital picture. So watch out!

3. Bonuses galore. If you try to checkout and you can not because the site keeps on trying to up-sell you on premium packages, then move on. Do not fall for this you are getting more for your money trick.

4. Unbelievable discounts. If it is too good to be true then it is! Do you really believe you are getting a discount from $600 to $50? Of course not. If you order said product, you are likely to get a piece of garbage sent to your email.

5. List after list of certifications. The fitness industry is not regulated and any Joe blow can become a trainer in only 2 days. And once Joe blow is a certified trainer, he will proclaim himself an expert! Stay away from so called experts that list endless certifications that mean nothing.

Don’t let your frustration for discovering how to lose arm fat thwart your ability to detect phony offers. The internet does have valuable information, and now you know what to look out for when searching for the answers!

Understanding how to properly perform arm exercises for women is absolutely critical if you want to achieve sexy arm stardom. It’s very easy to hide butt, hip or leg fat. But not so easy to hide arm fat. Not to mention all the clothes you can’t wear if you have too much arm flab.

In fact, you might as well throw away all those spaghetti strap tops you have hiding in the back of your closet. What happened to the arms you used to have as a twenty-something?

I never had sexy arms as a twenty year old. But I tried so hard to get them. I spent a small war chest on every exercise program and new supplement to hit the market. I experimented with everything out there.

You can learn from my mistakes and expertise. I don’t want you to waste all the time that I wasted. Here are some things to look out for when learning about arm exercises for women:

1. Spot reduction is impossible. While it is true that you can’t force specific areas of your body to lose fat first, you can change how your arms look with minimal fat loss. Fat loss is only part of the equation and in some cases not necessary. The key is to firm up the muscle with very specific weight training, and to manipulate the amount of water and carbohydrate within it.

2. Push up’s. I feel like yelling at the top of my lungs every single time an alleged expert recommends push-ups for toning up the female arm. The majority of the push-up movement targets the chest, not the arm. So why waste time doing them?

3. Triceps dips are a must. Do enough triceps dips and the AC joint in your shoulder can wear out. Once your AC joint wears out, surgery is the only way to fix it. Stay away from dips at all costs. There are other equally effective exercises for your arms.

4. Triceps kick-backs are great for toning. Triceps kick-backs are the single most overrated exercise. Your time is much better spent doing other exercises. The problem with kick-backs is that they don’t allow you to add on a lot of weight because of the position your body is in. And you need a lot of weight to get toned arms as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation out there about arm exercises for women. Never has it been so confusing for women to get the right answers when they need them: now. But now you know what to look out for before starting your sexy arm workout program!

Figuring out how to tone up arms can be hard with all the free and subpar information out there. In fact, I believe that many women are utterly lost when it comes to finding the right approach.

Figuring out how to tone up arms can be hard with all the free and subpar information out there. In fact, I believe that many women are utterly lost when it comes to finding the right approach.

I know this is the case because of all the questions I receive on a daily basis.

But please don’t blame yourself. After all, a lot of the confusion is created by savvy marketers. With endless products comes endless misinformation.

Thus, here is some misinformation to avoid when learning how to tone up your arms:

1. Exercising on a daily basis is the best approach. This is a great way to get an overuse injury. Please do not try to do this. After all, once you tweak a tendon or ligament, healing will take a very long time. You body needs proper rest.

2. One arm is stronger than the other, therefore something is wrong. This is completely normal. In fact, I’ve never worked with a client whose arms were equally strong. The good news is that over time this difference will equalize.

3. 15 rep sets provide maximum arm toning. Well, not really. You do not have to do 15 repetitions for every single set you do. Instead, aim for a more varied number of repetitions so that you target all of your muscle fibers.

4. You should never get tired when working out. This is not true. And expect to get extra tired whenever you are breaking a personal best. The only time you should stop is if you start feeling queasy or sick. Otherwise keep on pushing through so that you get maximum benefit from your workouts.

5. If you’re sore a couple days after exercising, something is wrong! This simply means that you had an intense workout-just what you need to do to tone up those arms. And keep in mind that this delayed soreness will decrease as you eat better and your body learns to recover faster.

Figuring out how to tone up arms does not have to be difficult. In fact, if you stay away from all the misinformation out there, it’s much easier than you think. And the key here is to apply information immediately. Do not wait until tomorrow!

The sheer number of emails I receive on how to get slim arms is insane. I firmly believe that women are more confused than ever when it comes to getting the lean and sexy arms of their dreams.

The sheer number of emails I receive on how to get slim arms is insane. I firmly believe that women are more confused than ever when it comes to getting the lean and sexy arms of their dreams.

And bogus marketing claims are probably to blame here. After all, it seems that the influx of phony gadgets and sleeveless snake oil is relentless.

Thus, this FAQ should help clear up at least some portion of the slim arm confusion.

So here are some of the most common questions and answers I receive about slim arms:

1. How much time before I see some changes? It depends on the underlying cause of the issue. If you have a lot of fat covering your arms, for instance, results could take up to a couple months. If you have a little fat, you could notice a change within weeks.

2. How long should I be exercising? Keep it short, very short. Your slim arms will thank you for it. The shorter and more intense the workout, the more arm flab incinerating hormones you’ll secrete. And never let your workouts last more than 90 minutes. At this point cortisol will spike furiously.

3. Aren’t dips the best exercise for getting slim arms? I do not recommend that any woman do dips. They simply put too much stress on your shoulder joint. There are safer exercises that do not put your shoulders in such a precarious position.

4. Will doing 100 repetitions get me the fastest results? No. But you will feel a searing pain in your muscles! Instead, strive to do a wide variety of repetitions. You’ll get faster results with this approach because you’ll completely work your arm muscles.

There is an excess of advice on how to get slim arms. And a lot of this advice comes from unreliable sources. So make sure you find a good source and start implementing immediately. The most successful women have the fastest speeds of implementation.

Obtain free and valuable information on the best movement exercises for flabby arms immediately by going to Katherine Crawford’s M.S. website Sleeveless in 7. And uncover how to get sexy and thin arms in no time by visiting her blog about how to get rid of arm flab immediately!

There is a lot of variance between upper arm exercises. Some are astronomically more effective than others. And if you're doing lots of the infective ones, you could spend an insane amount of time in the gym and not notice any results!

There is a lot of variance between upper arm exercises. Some are astronomically more effective than others. And if you’re doing lots of the infective ones, you could spend an insane amount of time in the gym and not notice any results!

Even worse, all the fitness gurus make things more confusing by not reaching a consensus on the best upper arm exercises. You need a PhD in exercise selection just to get started!

Luckily for you, I’ve been there and done that.

So without further ado, here are 4 essential arm exercises for women:

1. Tricep extensions. The best way to do these is overhead. They do an excellent job at targeting the long head of the triceps, the area where arm flab hangs from. Now if you really want to work this area, get a full stretch at the bottom portion of the movement. Just make sure you use lighter weights when doing this.

2. Curls with an inside grip. Curling with an inside grip or narrow grip does an excellent job at working the outside part of your biceps. And the outside part of your biceps is a very visible area. Not to mention, the biceps is the first arm muscle someone will see when looking at you from the front.

3. Forearm curls. While not the most effective exercise for reducing arm flab, this movement will do wonders for loose forearms. If you feel that your forearms need additional work, include this exercise in your routine.

4. Bicep curls at an incline. The incline will make your biceps stretch to the fullest. This stretch ensures that the biceps gets worked through the entire range of motion. In other words, you get more bang for your buck and faster results.

If you stick to the basics and do them with maximum effort, you should notice some drastic results. The key here is to stay away from all the fads and flashy movements-rarely do they provide much benefit. And remember that intensity is the name of the game.

It’s all about the details when maximizing the effectiveness of your arm exercises. Why? Because over the long run, small deviations in form can add up and really retard your progress.

Now most women probably aren’t even conscious of the small mistakes they’re making in the gym. After all, showing up is the biggest part of the battle. So perfecting the technique of each arm exercise probably takes second place.

The good news is that you don’t have to perfect every single movement to the point that it’s flawless. All you have to do is watch out for the big deviations.

So without further ado, here are some common errors to avoid when doing arm exercises for women:

1. Using momentum to bring the weight up. You may not even be aware that you’re doing this. Why? Because you probably look at yourself from the front when exercising. Yet the only way to really see if your using momentum is to look at yourself from the side. So whenever you do a curl, double check the side mirrors?

2. Letting the shoulders come up. Most common with press downs for the triceps, although some women also do this when performing curls. What’s the big deal? When you elevate the shoulders, you work your trapezius (neck) muscles, not your arm muscles. And do you really want a big neck?

3. Letting the elbows move around. This is probably the most rampant error of them all. Whether you’re doing biceps curls or triceps extensions, your elbows should always stay locked in place. Once your elbows start moving around, stress is placed on your shoulders and/or back and away from your arms.

4. Not digging in with the heels. Digging into the ground with your heels when doing any type of lifting is one of the simplest yet most effective things you can do. Why? Because digging in with your heels uses the largest muscles in your body for support.

Be conscious of the above mistakes when exercising your arms and do your best to avoid them. However, please do not become so self conscious about your form that you don’t go 100%. Try hard to maintain good form, but don’t obsess over it. After all, you should enjoy your arm workouts!

by Katherine Crawford M.S.

There are an infinite number of variations on how to do arm exercises for women. Unfortunately, if you?re doing the infective variations, you could end up wasting an insane amount of time and energy.

And in the worst of cases, you may fail to see any type of result from all your hard work. Now once you stop seeing results (if at all) your chances of abandonment sky rocket.

So without further ado, here are 4 tips to make your arm exercises ultra effective:

1. Get the full stretch when doing overhead triceps extensions. When doing a tricep extension, make sure you get a full stretch at the bottom of the movement. You?ll have to use lighter weights, but the long head of your triceps will get worked like nothing else. And the long head is the precise area from which arm fat hangs?

2. Aim for a forceful squeeze. This is most useful when performing any type of press down for the triceps area. By squeezing at the bottom, you?ll place the maximum amount of stress on your triceps. And maximum stress translates into maximum results.

3. Do negative curls. If you want the complete toned arm look, you can?t neglect your biceps! After all, they are the first muscle someone will see when greeting you from the front. A negative biceps curl focuses on the downward portion of the movement. For example, you would do a bicep curl and bring the weight up with a normal speed, BUT lower the weight at a much slower speed.

4. Use some really heavy weight. But don?t let your form deviate. In fact, never let your form deviate. How heavy? Don?t be afraid to venture into the 3-5 repetition range? Trust me, your arms will thank you for it. After all, you have to target all types of muscle fibers in your arm for the best results.

There are two ways to do arm exercises for women: the effective way and the ineffective way. If you follow the pointers outlined in this article, you?ll be well on your way to rapid arm toning. So make sure you act on this information now and not later.

You might be having a difficult time choosing the right exercises to get rid of arm fat. If this is the case, rest assured that you're not the only one.

by Katherine Crawford M.S.

You might be having a difficult time choosing the right exercises to get rid of arm fat. If this is the case, rest assured that you’re not the only one.

When did choosing arm exercises become so perplexing? After all, every single guru out there seems to have a different view as to which exercises are the best.

And if the experts can’t agree, how are you supposed to figure things out? Even worse, some women simply give up before getting started because of information overwhelm.

Luckily for you, I’ve already gone through all these headaches. And I’m willing to share what I’ve learned along the way.

Thus, here is my critique of triceps dips to get rid of arm fat:

1. Summary: So many trainers recommend this exercise to women wishing to get toned arms. Unfortunately, this is a very dangerous exercise for the shoulder joint.

2. Technical overview: Put your hands on the edge of a bench. Keep both heels of your feet firmly planted into the floor. Slowly lower your body by bending your arms at the elbows. Then bring your body back up.

3. Common errors: Allowing the back to curl excessively. Jerking the torso upwards to gain momentum. Allowing the elbows to shift around. And not going through the entire range of motion.

4. Bottom line: Do not do this exercise, ever. It’s simply not worth the risk to your shoulders. Once your shoulder gives out, it’s very hard to get it back to 100%. There are equally effective exercises for toning your arms that do NOT involve such risk.

Staying healthy should be a top priority in your quest to get rid of arm fat. After all, what’s the point of getting toned arms if you destroy your shoulders in the process? Not good! So make sure you do your research before getting on an arm toning program that someone else has prescribed. And never do something just because everybody else is doing it. Always question why!

by Katherine Crawford M.S.

There are certain arm toning exercises that should be a staple in your program. And there are certain exercises that you should stay away from like the plague. Unfortunately, many women are consistently doing exercises that they should be avoiding.

How did this happen?

The truth is that, in this case, tradition has clouded common sense. It’s all too common for women to blindly do what the so called experts have been recommending.

The good news is that I’ve been figuring all this stuff out for quite some time now. And I’m ready to share my knowledge because I believe that every woman deserves sexy arms.

So without further delay, here is my review of triceps kickbacks for getting toned arms:

1. Overview: So many women do this exercise day in and day out in the hopes of getting rid of those flabby arms. Yet this exercise has some major limitations. Not only is it extremely inefficient to exercise one arm at a time, but it’s also impossible to use heavy weights with this movement.

2. Technical overview: Find a low bench. Place one of your hands on it while leaning forward with knees slightly bent. Use your free hand to grasp a weight. Keep the same arm aligned with your torso. Lift the weight by straightening out your arm. Slowly lower it and repeat.

3. Frequent errors: Heave hoeing the weight up and down. Allowing the elbows to shift around. And not going all the way up and all the way down with the dumbbell.

4. Final word: I know a lot of women do this exercise and a lot of trainers recommend it, but this doesn’t mean that you should do it. In fact, this is the most overrated exercise for toning the triceps area.

Doing ineffective arm toning exercises is extremely demoralizing because you won’t get results. You’ll feel like you’re going around in circles. And without results, you’re more likely to quit. So make sure you stick to what works and disregard everything else, even if everybody is doing it. Good luck!
